| A few words about the HPShell |
|
|
The HPShell is that tool for everybody who uses the
great HP48 calculator of HEWLETT PACKARD and a PC. You'll write all
your programs and texts on the PC and the HPShell will do everthing
needed to transfer it to the HP48.
You'll be able to receive programs from the HP directly into an editor
window. Forget all the problems with the different char tables of your PC
and the HP. The HPShell will translate everything for you.
|
Have you ever had problems with the size of the HP48 display while writing
text on a PC ? Forget them ! The HPShell is able to show you
the exact size of the displays while editing your text. It is no question
that there is also an automatic line-wrapping and a syntax-highlighting for
all keywords, strings and comments.
|
The HPShell will manage all your backups and directories
of the HP48. It is able to create HP-directory-variables from DOS-directories
on your hard disk.
|
Beside all the features to use for the HP48 the HPShell has also
a desktop like you've ever wanted for a program. You will find a free defineable
buttonbar, you'll be able to define your own hotkeys and record your own
macros. There are also a char and a command table to insert special characters
or commands quickly into your text or program.
|
It is out of the question that there is a large online-help with lots of hints,
tables and additional information.
|
Please note: | The HPShell is not identical with the hpshell file manager runable directly on HP48 calcs: ![]() and it is also far different from the HPSource (hps) library. |
